The story of Picnic Dairy starts in 2005 when Ibrahim Ozdemir saw a gap in the dairy market for quality natural yogurt, cheese, butter, dips and ayran, manufactured in traditional styles.

We are a registered establishment for export - #6061

As a registered export establishment with the Department of Agriculture and Water, Government of Australia, we ensure that:

  • the facilities available are fit for the purpose of preparing, handling, storing and/or inspecting product for export
  • appropriate hygiene and the necessary measures to produce the goods according to trade description and other requirements applicable to a given commodity are maintained
  • the goods comply with importing country requirements.

 

 

 

 

Australian Competition and Consumer Commission

A certification trademark (CTM) is a special kind of trademark which indicates to consumers that a product meets certain standards or criteria.

For example, it might certify that the product has been organically grown, is made of Australian wool, complies with a particular Australian Standard or is made in Australia.

In Australia, a registered CTM like the Australian Made, Australian Grown logo must have a set of rules which govern its use and must be approved by the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC).

The European Vegetarian Union (EVU) is the umbrella organisation of vegan and vegetarian associations and societies throughout Europe. Its main areas of focus are health, nutrition, consumer protection, sustainability and environmental issues.

NASAA

NASAA is committed to developing and maintaining organic standards; assisting operators in gaining organic certification; and developing the organic industry in Australia. The scope of NASAA's Standard covers the organic supply chain – from input manufacturers to producers, processors to wholesale and retail operations - ensuring organic integrity 'from paddock to plate'.

The FSSC 22000 Food Safety System Certification provides a framework for effectively managing food safety and quality responsibilities. FSSC 22000 demonstrates a company has a robust and effective food safety management system (FSMS) in place to meet the requirements of regulators, food business clients and consumers.
